Allow us to brag a little, as we have a result which we, ourselves can hardly believe: Our Bu00e1rd Street residential park in the 9th district has been fully rented, even before the August moving in. WOW!
Now that the whole world is watching the Tokyo Olympics and we have pointed out our records, we at Flatco can also record a winning. There is no greater joy than to see the positive results of the huge invested time and effort – in the real estate market but also in sports. But, even we were surprised that the Bu00e1rd Street residential park got so much interest and ended with a bang. This means that we were able to put out the u201cwe are fullu201d board even before the first tenant moved in: all 256, fully and tastefully furnished, impeccably automatized apartments found their tenants!
Concept confirmed, ready to start
We took a huge leap when we embarked on building the largest, privately funded rental-apartments building in last decades in Budapest, and u2013 letu2019s just admit it u2013 that the risk we took by planning to use only for rental purposes all the flats and business premises in the two buildings was not a small one. While the interest in affordable premium rentals in recent years has been encouraging for us, we did not know what to expect from putting on the market such a large volume of homes, which all become available at the same time.
However, the fact that 256 people said yes to Bu00e1rd Street apartments even before moving in and that they even signed a contract with us (which, of course, has no hidden parts and it isu00a0 trap-free) proves that the demand for rentals of a higher standard in the Hungarian capital is clearly growing,
We are proud that our barely a few percent higher rents allow for a wider range of people to benefit from the quality of 21st-century housing!

We canu2019t wait to hand out the 256 keys and see the latest Flatco residents move in! When designing the residential complex, we put a lot of effort into the creation of communal spaces, so we hope that shortly after moving in, the sleek lounge will be the scene of interesting conversations, and bloody tournaments will take place at the pool table and in the x-box corner. And there is the brand new gym, which has all sorts of equipment and machines – we’re confident it wonu2019t just get covered by dust but will be the home to a vibrant sports life.
In our opinion, a huge housing estate consisting exclusively of rental apartments, where young people in the same – or at least similar – living situation live together or next to each other, can only bring good things. At the same time, we are anxious to see this envisioned theory become a reality, and stands the test of time when put in practice.
