We wonu2019t recommend football or baseball because of the windows and all of the plants on the balconies, but you can enjoy a variety of programmes both indoor and outdoor. The gym, the communal kitchen, the cozy lounge can be excellent venues for countless activities. You can test your fitness, your creativity, your talent in music or in gastronomy, there are also many classical house party games, funny pranks for adults, conversational games the list is practically endless.
This is how you get started
Donu2019t worry, putting together a great little house championship is not an impossible task and you donu2019t even need a degree in event planning. We will show you the basics in 5 steps.
- Decide what kind of competition would you like to organise. You can do that in 2 ways: either you can find out what moves the imagination of the group or you announce what you want to organise and ask who is interessted.
- If you have the subject you can come up with the time and place. It is common knowledge that you do not make any loud noises or disturb your neighbors after 10 pm so that is given. Look for a time that is good for as many people as possible, think about late afternoons, early evenings, or weekend afternoons. If it is a weight lifting championshoip then head to the gym, if it is foosball then the community place if it is a board game then the huge table at the spacious kitchen. If it is a ball game then the yard is ideal but with extra caution.
- Advertise your eventud83dude0a! Write about it online in the Flatcommunity gropus, so that everyone knows about it. You can also place an invitation in the elevators (just donu2019t forget to take them down after the fun is over). Collect the applicants, make a list so you know how many participants you can count on
